Bismillahirrahmanirraheem
Woke up this morning with creaking bones & tight muscles! The after effect of what we did yesterday!!
Alhamdulillah for this great gift from Allah, another day to make amend for all the wrong-doings & to live life the way we should, not the way we would..
After a long night of discussing the JIM-IPT SP & preparing for the next day's program, we managed to finally go to bed way past 2 am saturday morning.

Saturday was a big day! The highlight of JIM Selangor's Bersama Mu Palestine Programme, in our efforts to raise as much money as we can to render whatever help we could to our beloved brethrens in Palestine, Gaza in particular. We do not want to miss the train, in having our share of this golden opportunity to help the Mujahideen in Palestine, in preparing ourselves with the answers tof the Almighty Allah, for He surely would ask of our efforts in helping our brothers and sisters in Palestine....

Ya Allah, Kau ikhlaskanlah niat2 kami dan terimalah usaha kami yg sedikit ini...

In our rush,rush (as usual..) yesterday morning, Fikri, K Pi & the kids arrived from Kuantan! Fikri went for his lecture, so the rest might as well join us! It would be a great experience fo all!

KEMBARA PALESTIN 2009
kicked off with 'edaran sejuta risalah' after registration. Our first destination was the Melawati Pasar Tani.

We stationed ourselves at the entrance,

and masyaAllah! Malaysians are truly generous!

We had our tabung full to the brim, alhamdulillah!

Abu 'Urwah flagged us off after short speeches (as usual..) by the YDPs & YBs.

It was a beautiful sight, cars moving in convoy, Palestinian flags, small & large, flapping away in the wind as we slowly snaked our way in the traffic.

We were with Othman & family as Lan had to attend a work-related discussion at the office. He will join us later in Bangi, insyaAllah.

K Pi, Hidayah, Ahmad & Huraiyah went with Dr Nora.

Our next destination was Pasar Keramat, parking our cars at the Masjid Ikram parking area. Ouch! problem! problem! Filzah started her "Ijah lapar..." as we passed by the gerai! She refused to budge until she got what she wanted! More of these as we passed more shops!! I finally had to give in before my blood started boiling - from the hot sun as well as from those who simply refuse to even look at the flyers, let alone accept them! We had to sometime explain that we are not expecting anything in return! Amazing!

Majority of the masses were not aware of the issue, or just couldn't be bothered.We have to reach out to more people if we want this campaign to succeed. BOYCOTT ISRAEL, BUY AMERICA 'S LAST!
There were however quite a number who showed great interest & willing to part with their hard earned money for the cause. Moga Allah merahmati semua & dimurahkan rezeki. Ameen

As for Ijah, she finally settled for a bottle of bubbles! that kept her spirit up, & mine too! not to mention, peace of mind..ahhhhh...

Walking back to our cars, we found it most effective distributing by the roadside. So we stationed ourselves along the main road, giving out flyers to the motorists who had to slow down or stopped due to heavy traffic in the area.

Syed Zakaria even waved the tabung around to attract their attention! brilliant idea!
again, we had the tabung filled to the brim (& had to be emptied into a bigger one!) .

They stopped, rolled down their windows & pushed their donations into the tabung! Very pretty sight!!!

Fawwaz came up with another brilliant (wicked???) idea!
Every now and then he would push the pedestrian crossing button......

The cars would then stop for the red light, & yes! bertebaranlah kami !!

we even managed to sell buttons & stickers! alhamdulillah

As we were wrapping up & preparing to continue our kembara, it started to rain. Alhamdulillah, hujan rahmat. It sure cooled us down!!

Next pitstop was after Sg Besi toll. This was to make sure that nobody's left behind.

We then proceeded to Masjid Hasanah, Bangi. Our tummies had been making lots of noise, and the kids were getting restless..
Lunch had to wait when we arrived in Bangi! After solat zohr, we continued with solat hajat & special doa for the mujahideen.

Lunch was hottt.... really hot- ayam masak pedas! This time it didn't really matter! even Zharif finished the whole pack!! must be really hungry. haha

Before moving on, we signed the banner, in support of Palestine

Our convoy of 100 or so cars arrived safely at Dataran PJ at around 6 PM after another pitstop at Petronas for 'asr.
We went wandering around the gerai & exhibition area , waiting for maghrib

PPN - a friend in need is a friend indeed..

Alhamdulillah, after days & weeks of stress & rushing to beat deadlines, there's some free time to at last update this blog. it's been sooooo long!

PPWN & PPN are finally over,alhamdulillah. Good remarks & responses keep our spirits up, at least till the post mortem, hehe.
It wasn't so bad actually except for a few hitches here and there. Biasalah tu... Keeping cool is of utmost important when having to deal with last minute 'requests'. Everything looked good & in order - my part at least! Tried my very best to keep things up to date - registrations, payments, photostating etc, and was quite pleased with myself :)

Then the desperate call from Nahdia... 'makcik, was it me who was supposed to handle the cenderahati??' She must have missed the discussion! poor her, what with work inPJ, kids and all in Hulu Kelang, and... the new boss!
Alhamdulillah we made it in 2 days! after running around getting all the materials during the day,on the first night, we were all still in PKJ came midnight! A BIG THANK YOU to all the JIM AJ ladies who came in drove to help - after getting the S.O.S SMS!
Getting the stuff ready wasn't the end of the story... there were 12 big & HEAVY boxes to be taken to Darul Puteri!!

I thought all was nicely planned! kita rancang, tapi Allah juga rancang ,& perancangan Allahlah yg terbaik!
our original plan was : Friday Lan will send me to DP for PPWN, then he'll take Fairuz to LCCT for her flight to Kemboja. Ulfah, Zharif & Filzah need not be registered for aulad & nursery progs - baba wil be around!Nice plan, though i forgot that it'll be on a friday!
Then one week prior to PPN, Lan told us he had to go up to Genting Wed-Friday for a seminar! Alright! we'll all go up! Thursday evening he'll send me back & i'll drive to DP. Fairuz?? she'll be arriving wed afternoon...we'll pick her up before going off. Good ol' anca', she agreed to come over & spend the night with Fairuz while we are not around - only for one night, as i'll be back Thursday insyaAllah. He he i've even made arrangements for yaton to send Fairuz to LCCT,now that Lan won't be around.. smart me! all settled!

Came wednesday,there were still lots to settle! Goodbye Genting!

and we spent our wednesday night at PKJ ....

Another hectic day, and after maghrib Thursday,off we went to DP for the rehearsal, and another looooong night.....finally, past midnight we slowly climbed our way up to the second floor... the seven of us were really looking forward to a good night rest in the 7-bed urusetia room.. hee hee, but it was not to be... 4 beds were already taken!! perwakilan outstation who arrived early were put up in there... not to worry, the four budak2 muda Karisma went down to the van to get the comforters that i brought, just in case.... lesson learnt, be prepared, life is full of "in case's"!

Registration was smooth despite the 'no-show' of PPWN tags!!
We thought,let's just sweat behind the scenes, pray hard nobody notice!
But of 'cos the KW WILL definitely notice, and boy! will she be mad! More calls, more sweat.

Finally the tags came and discreetly distributed . Some were surprised! Yes, they hadn't noticed (yet!) that they had the PPN tags on!!
From then on, for me, time to concentrate, tunaikan amanah dari ahli - i was the perwakilan.
and THANK YOU Jawaher for taking time off to send Fairuz to catch her flight. Really appreciate that. Moga Allah rahmati & berkati kerana melapangkan urusan saudara mu - a friend in need is a friend indeed!

SELESAI... alhamdulillah!

Baru nak lelap mata last night, teet teet! bunyi message masuk... Minah nak kurma lagi! Baru tadi hantar pada Ra, utk dropkan kat rumah Minah on her way back to Melaka..
Kali ni katanya En Abdullah nak ke Keramat pagi sabtu, tolong bagi yang tak muat kete Ra tu.. Ouch!! Pagi ni bila tepon Jawaher, dah nak habis stok! amek jelah mana yang ada. Alhamdulillah, taklah merungut.. rezeki tak boleh tolak! Congak -congak jumlah kali ni ialah:

• 8 cartons mariami A 10kg
• 6 cartons AULA
• 5 cartons Lyna
• 5 cartons Rotab

alhamdulillah, walaupun masih tak cukup.. dia nak semua 6 except mariami 10kg, nak 8.
Call Minah, dia kata husband patutnya dah sampai KL, "boleh hantar ke LRT Jelatek?'
Aduuuh!! terganggu lagi!! bila nak siap ni?
Kejar sana-kejar sini, selesai by 1pm alhamdulillah.
Bermulalah betul2 pulun, lepas zohor hiiiiiiiiiinggga ke 'asr. alhamdulillah, SELESAI....
