Alhamdulillah, selesai fasa ke2!
pagi ahad lepas subuh, k long & friends & the boys balik ke PKJ, sambung prog ERA. They missed a lot - dengarnya last night's prog was very intetresting. insyaAllah next prog, full attendance!!

my feet ached bad this morning... banyak sangat berdiri & berjalan yesterday. It was worse for nani & ayob. he he he... they ached all over!! somehow Lan still managed to go for gotong royong at the surau, coming back quite late.
Afan came over to return the piring 'ikan' & we returned the fruit basket.
Tuesday morning dapat calls from nani & cek - jalan gua musang -kota bharu collapsed, closed to all traffic! so we decided to go back via kuantan.
After all the ding dong ding dong...at last we were ready to move, before that had to send k long to klinik izham - she wasn't feeling well. Lan picked me up at the clinic around 10.30 pm. we moved after seeing k long off.
The journey was ok - stopped by for dinner at petronas karak hiway for about 1 hour. reached abg di's house around 1.30 am. Ingat nak bertolak awal the next morning...tapi susahnya nak make the move ..we finally started the journey 11.30 am, alhamdulillah.
no banjir! we went thru jabor,it rained a bit, but that's about all...:) the traffic was quite smooth till we reached renek. so we turned to alor lintang & stopped at abg li's house. there goes our plan nak jumpa imam to settle tarikh nikah... :(

still no banjir! we 'tangguk' ikan from the kolam to bring back to melor.reached melor around 8.30pm. there were only us ... prepared the ingredients for laksa penang - only went to bed at around 1am

Thursday ,20 december 2007 - SALAM EIDUL ADHA!

Pagi2 lg dah bangun - sediakan makanan & bersiap sedia utk solat sunat d masjid. masjid penuh, tapi ada ruang lagi d tengah-tengah.Heran kenapa lah pulak berpeluh ni.. ingatkan dah datang awal sket, berjalan dengan tenang tadi.. ( masa eidul fitr, punyalah kecoh, terlewat, akibatnya kena solat kat luar masjid... :( Laaa... kipas semua tak jalan.. masjid tengah d buat ubahsuai.suasana panas gitu jejaskan jugak konsentrasi masa solat & khutbah. Ingatkan diri, apalah sangat panas gini bandingkan dengan panas azab Allah di neraka, na'udzubillah. juga penderitaan umat Islam ditempat2 lain yang ditimpa berbagai musibah. Teringat juga panasnya di Mina semasa menunaikan Haj pada 1993 dulu...
Lucu pulak bila difikirkan - Bas sesat,tinggalkan aje kami dalam kesesakan berjuta manusia. Dalam keadaan biasa memang tak tahan panas, yambah pulak masa tu mengandungkan "arif, anak keempat... dalam kepenatan berjalan (alhamdulillah, Lan sangat memahami & sama2 jalan slow - rasanya kalu dia sorang2 dah lama sampai destinasi.. :) ) nampak lori ais yg dikerumuni beratus2 jemaah. beranikan diri masuk celah2 mereka sambil berpayung (payung tu trademark masa kat sana, org lain segan nak guna.. he he kita yg tak segan ni selamat dari panahan cahaya matahari yg sentiasa terik, alhamdulillah) tiba2 ada sorang pakcik arab ni tarik payung tu, isyy! panik kejap,ingatkan dia marah! rupa2nya dia terbalikkan payung tu, sambut salah satu plastik ais yg memang di baling randomly!!alhamdulillah! alhamdulillah. dah dapat ais tu dia hulur balik payung sambil panggil "hajjah! hajjah!" dah dapat balik payung tu, sambil sengih, sambil angguk2 kepala tanda terima kasih.... jumpa Lan yg tgh tunggu kat luar crowd tu, sengih lagi lebar... Alahmdulillah ,junjung ais, tebuk lubang2 kat plastik tu, sambil jalan,ais yang cair meleleh kat muka & badan.... oooooo ni'matttt!! alhamdulillah. syukur lag, bila jumpa khemah, rupa2nya berhadapan dengan jamrah, just across the road... rezeki anak yang dikandung.alhamdulillah

Lepas solat, balik rumah & sambung makan. tak ramai kali ni ,only our family & abg di's family + azim wakil family abg zaini! sembang2 sambil tunggu lembu tiba utk disembelih. Tahun ni alhamdulillah kami Qurban melalui Qurban JIM. Moga bertambah keberkatan dengan berqurban ditempat yang lebih memerlukan, insyaAllah.
Anak2 pergi tengok lembu disembelih dipadang belakang rumah. Filzah tak mahu balik, kenalah hantar balik kesitu.. takut nak gi dekat, banyak pacat! jadi tengok dari jauh je.. selasai melapah, Lan bawa balik daging utk di agih & utk dimasak. Tolong potong daging utk goreng & buat sup.

Ingatkan takde orang datang, rupanya penuh juga rumah dengan saudara mara petang tu. alhamdulillah, bolehlah jamu laksa & daging Qurban yang dah di masak. yang bestnya, ayoh makan banyak betul..... entah berapa kali ulang. rasanya dari pagi sampai malam, ada dalam 8 kali! alhamdulillah dengan selera yang baik, moga terus diberikan kekuatan & umur panjang.

wahhhh... amad dapat hadiah cemerlang upsr dari cek & ayoh.. alhamdulillah! bagus juga kalu boleh masuk tabung, dah janji ari tu, sebahagiannya nak masuk ke tabung palestin.. jangan wat tak ingat plak ek! ummi tuntut nanti...

aik??? filzah pun dapat jugak???

Bersiap nak balik ke besut. terfikir bagus juga kalu boleh pegi jumpa Peed & Che Rahimi, our wedding planner, utk bincang apa yg patut.sms tanya boleh datang rumah tak? peed balas balik ok, lepas maghrib. Tak jadi balik besut lagi, tinggalkan anak2 di melor & kami terus ke kb. sampai awal sangat, mereka belum sampai rumah lagi.. so kami ke KB mencari banjir! Puas pusing, tak jumpa! adalah sikit2 bekas2 banjir.

Banyak juga bincang & finalise malam tu tentang majlis yang akan diadakan nanti.Kesimpulannya, kami sedrahkan soal makanan & acara pada JIM Kelantan. juga soal penginapan & transport rombongan Afan nanti.yang lain2 kami bincang keluarga insyaAllah.

by the time tiba rumah abg Li it was already way past midnight, tak jadi ke rumah nani & k soh as planned. takpelah jumpa esok insyaAllah.

Majlis pertunangan Safwan - Wan Afrah

Alhamdulillah pada 15 dis yg lepas saya berpeluang menghadiri majlis pertunangan Safwan dan Wan Afrah di Putrajaya Ini merupakan urusan Bayt Muslim paling ekspress pernah saya dengar, hehehe Mereka baru sahaja taaruf kira-kira 2 bulan yang lalu, hari ini melangsungkan pertunangan, dan bulan depan akan melangsungkan pernikahan di Melor, Kota Bharu Kelantan... Afrah merupakan juniorku di sekolah (junior 4 tahun) tapi Safwan cukup merahsiakan siapakah bakal tunangnya (saya pun tak berapa suka nak deseak-desak dan tanya ) Sehingga apabila malam pertunangan, setelah melangkah masuk ke rumah bakal pengantin perempuan barulah saya menyedari siapa dia... Sebenarnya Safwan sangat mengenali mak kepada Afrah (Makcik Ogy), sebab selalu pinjam LCD projektor dan kenderaan utnuk penganjuran mana-mana program yang biasa kami ikuti bersama... Sehinggakan ada rakan yang membuat kelakar: "Safwan rajin pinjam LCD projektor dengan kereta, sampai dapat anaknya sekali " hehe Nampaknya mereka merupakan 'High Profile Couple' sebab selalu saja disebut-sebut dan dikenali oleh semua rakan walau di mana mereka berada... Tahniah, Safwan... mudah-mudahan akan berakhir dengan satu pernikahan yang barakah...

PERTUNANGAN AFRAH - AFAN 15 DIS 2007

Last 2 weeks had been really hectic, trying to meet the deadlines... after the first meeting with afan's family on nov 11th, there were lots of sms exchanges with afan to settle matters, which led to another meeting with afan at sakura kristal . this was followed by another mtg with the family on nov 28th in putrajaya (more on this later..) and finally with rosidah at lake club on dec 12th.

The date was fixed for DEC 15th!

We had originally planned to hold it in melawati. so nani & ayob were asked to come over & put up a new porch as planned last december (wahhh.. dah setahun berlalu, time really flies!). they came over on nov 28th to begin work. somehow after further discussions, it was just not possible to complete by the 15th.. ouch!

plan B... we'll have it in putrajaya then! the thing is.... we'll have to start from ZERO!! nothing's done yet, except for the few lightings.
so off they went, camping in the empty house to paint itwhile we were away in Kuching, taking ulfah & zharif along.

back from kuching on dec 3rd, we headed straight to putrajaya to see the progress. rather slow as there were lots of walls to be painted...
Nani then had to go back to Besut to finish off some work there,coming back only on the 13th, insyaAllah. That left us to carry on with whatever needed to be done. which is A LOT!!!!

Thus began our hectic life... almost every other day, we went to putrajaya to mow the lawn, sweep & mop the floors (seemed like never ending..., )buy & fix more lightings (with the help of din , of 'cos!) furniture hunting, etc... Furnitures will only be delivered on the 12th & 13th... oh, lamanya rasa.. :)


Finally 15th dec arrived.....

everybody's still busy....though most things were settled, except for the front lights & mirror + paintwork on the rumah sampah! k long, 'iffah & the bigger boys were at krj programme, ERA, for two days. they only joined us in putrajaya late in the evening.

alhamdulillah k long's friends were around to help - yam, maya, pijah, & syakirah.

mok su arrived later in the evening. so with this strong taskforce, we managed to get things done in time for the majlis , alhamdulillah..

everybody arrived shortly before 8, as scheduled , with a few sesat & causing last min disturbances. :( The caterer also sesat.. arriving just shortly after 8.

They arrived at 8.30 pm.. wahh, ramai gak! mulanya 15, then afan called to add another 10. petang before majlis, k sataraiah called confirming 30 will be coming!! ahlan wa sahlan!!

alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly, discussion was led by ayah man

& the majlis sarung cincin was meriah..alhamdulillah !


tahniah darling.... moga bahagia & memantapkan lagi perjalanan da'wah mu, insyaAllah.

cuma satu je.... nani wanted to make k long look good for the ocassion, so she put the bedak & light lipsgloss. looked ok bila jenguk malam tu, so it was approved ... malangnya, bila keluar kat gambar, masyaAllah!! tebalnya nampak... putih macam wayang cina!!!!!!!!!
drfinitely masa nikah nanti, we'll need to do something, definitely...

PPWN 23 NOV 2007

aduhhh, there goes our plan... asalnya nak tunggu 'atif & 'arif, around 5 qm konon.... due to late nite the nite before, we only managed to pick the boys at aroung 6am.they arrived around 5, but they had to wait..kitorang solat subh kat umah dulu, alhamdulillah.

hoped to get to usm by 9.30am, sempatlah dengar har bagi UDKW. looking at the time & having to stop in sg buluh for the boys to solat...hancussss! alhamdulillah, the weather was really really good & more importantly, the lansdslide had been cleared, alhamdulillah.
kat tapah, Lan looked really sleepy. tak boleh jadi ni, trying to keep him awake was really stressful! so we changed drivers.. took over the wheel sampai ipoh. not bad...i went around 110 kph(pemandu berhemah, chey...)
lan then continued with the journey.Fell asleep, sedar2 dh nak sampai. masyaAllah! it's not even 9.30 yet! what's this?? pecut again?? but i didn't complain! had a good sleep & ready for PPWN.
went in after registration. lan settled anak2 ('atif,'arif & ahmad - prog remaja, ulfah - aulad & zharif & filzah - nursery)
banyak yg di bincang, perlu bw balik ke kawasan to be implemented, insyaAllah. Lan had to go to penang, alhamdulillah came back early. had to go out and get new undies..oops.. one bag tertinggal, semua barang2 kecil kat dalam tu... ahmad, ahmad...
gi nibong tebal, found one shop yang harga are dirt cheap, so borong....! balik usm sempat dinner lagi alhamdulillah. Lan went back with the kids ke bukit jawi resort.

PRE PPN 22 NOV 07

Thursday morning Lan sent k long & iffah to hentian duta,picking sofie & mayam on the way. asma' & aisyah met them there. as usual with the girls, kecoh..kecoh...kecoh.... rush..rush..rush... got there just on time before the bus left. haiyya!
around 2 got an sms from k long 'jam teruk, tanah runtuh. not moving ' they reached quite late..

meanwhile, decided to visit nor & yan, who were going to haj. nor going on dec4 - just in case i don't get the chance to see her before she goes off.. then gi umah yan. she's leaving this evening. looks like all had been arranged - but we will still jenguk every now & then, to make sure everything's ok insyaAllah.

malam ni offered halizahton to look after her children since we persuaded mayam to go with afrah & iffah. she was supposed to take care of her adik2 while her parents were not home. was all prepared, when liza sms bgtau x jadi....

PERLIS TRIP-LANGKAWI 19 NOV 07

bertolak dari Park Avenue sg petani around 12 noon with Lan anticipating to play golf with nazri & abae. hee hee rupa2nya they were far behind us - bye bye golof!
during one of the phone calls - we almost met with an accident, alhamdulillah Allah masih pelihara & panjangkan umur. it's unimaginable what could had happened at that speed...na'udzubillah..... syukur sangat. dalam hati berkali2 memanjatkan kesyukuran pada Allah kerana memelihara kami dari menjadi statistik... moga ianya menjadi peringatan agar lebih berhati2 ketika memandu, insyaAllah.
The kids were a bit disappointed with the room at Brasmana putra - well, we don't blame them - compared to what we got the previous night, at a much cheaper rate too!. still,reminded them to syukur dengan rezeki & ni'mat Allah.
After maghrib we went 'shopping' at one of the kedai borong in kuala perlis - bought a few long sleeved t-shirts for ulfah - good buy! been looking for these for quite some time tapi normally found them at a much, much higher price. sekali lagi, alhamdulillah. Lan was free the next day after his meeting. so off we went to Langkawi-rushing like mad (!) since we were already very late(not again!).we took the 2.30pm ferry with expected arrival time around 3.30. that left us around 3 hours to look look see see whatever we can in Langkawi :(
ngantok mad???? ramai peminat, nampak.... he he . awal2 naik feri bukan main lagi! first destination.... Taman Buaya! we last visited when k long was about 10 years old.. so this will be a new experience to this batch! disappointing.... the place looked worse than it was 10 yrs ago.. bad!bad! we expected new attractions etc after all these years, instead what we got was a rather rundown place. why like that hah?? that's ahmad boxing with the croc! and ulfah, and zharif... and even baba!!!isy..isy..isy.. but the kids had a whale of a time watching the crocs, at one time, being fed, up close...




NEXT STOP WAS THE CABLE CAR! this was something new for all of us. alhamdulillah we had about 1 hour & again, we rushed like mad! mula-mula naik...takut wooooo.... gayat sungguh, but never showed it lest the kids will .... hehehe.
the view was magnificent! dare not look down though... at the first station, we got down & took some pics. up at the 2nd station,stayed at the platform with filzah. decided not to climb all those stairs. Lan & the kids did! no wonder it took them sooooo long to get back, rupa2nya they went to the hanging platform which i thought was impossible to reach, but apparently, they did! well done! the view was spectacular! must come again, insyaAllah (may be we'll send kak long for her honeymoon here.. keh keh) since we were pressed for time & belum solat, we rushed thru the Oriental village. looked nice... must come again, insyaAllah! reached the jetty with barely time to solat. alhamdulillah we managed. After all the rush,pulak dah... feri belum sampai...kalu tau tadi, boleh tinjau2 sket barang2 kat kedai... must come again, insyaAllah! reached kuala perlis past maghrib. perut keroncong... we headed to the seaside foodcourt. but we were all too tired to enjoy the food. siannnn filzah.... must be really, really tired and zharif too!

on the way back, singgah alor setar. Lan had another meeting, so we just walked across to pacific shopping ctr. gald that he decided not to play golf..kalu tidak, more waiting.. thanks darling! wednesday we went to putrajaya,pasang more lampu & kipas. the house is getting better, alhamdulillah! had an appointment with safwan at sakura kristal at 8.30. we were running late as we had to go to hentian duta to get tomorrow's tickets to PPN for k long & gang. so he had to wait...let him ordered the food first & got there around 10pm. alhamdulillah, bincang a few things including passing k long's ring for size. then sent him home as it was already late to let him find his own way home. moga dipermudahkan Allah urusan ini.
