ANUGERAH KIMB-SUMMERSET RESORT

Masa PPN tahun lepas di USM Transkrian, tanpa di duga, alhamdulillah telah di anugerahkan 'pencarum terbaik/tertinggi' 2007. Memang tak sangka betul!

Masa Muzakarah Nasional di Bangi, KIMB buka kaunter. Dah lama tak masukkan duit, biasanya kami mencarum untuk setahun masa KONTARN atau 'aktifkan' akaun bila anak2 dapat keputusan cemerlang... maklumlah KIMB akan bagi anugerah cemerlang pada anak2 yg ibu/bapa ahli aktif KIMB :) :) - syarat manjadi ahli aktif ialah ada caruman dalam tahun tersebut!

Alhamdulillah, masa tu ada rezeki lebih, Lan masukkan 5K seorang. Actually sebelum tu, terfikir juga nak masukkan rm25, tiap kali lalu KIMB bila nak naik ke pejabat JIM.(Caruman minima adalah RM25 sebulan)
kalulah masa tergerak tu terus buat, sure anugerah tu menang sorang , bukan bersama...kalahkan by RM25!!!! hehe (my caruman would be RM5025, lan's 5000! )
anyway, alhamdulillah... malam tu naik stage dalam rasa tak percaya.... dapatlah voucher penginapan 3hari2malam di Summerset Resort milik KIMB.

Fikir punya fikir, we decided to take up the offer masa cuti sekolah, sebelum k long & afan ke Australia -dapatlah semua berkumpul , relax & santai.

Kebetulan KONTARN tahun ni di JB, cantik tu... boleh terus kesana dari Summerset.
Lepas booking dengan Zai di KIMB, surf internet cari maklumat ttg Summerset. Tak banyak yang ada, kalu ada pun bunyi macam tak best je... x pe lah, bukan kena bayar pun, at least boleh lepaskan lelah..
Antara description : 'a place to go if u have nowhere else to go' , 'in the middle of nowhere' , bring all the boardgames to keep away boredom' , 'a rundown place' dan banyak lagi yang sewaktu dengannya!

of 'cos i didn't tell anyone about this! was a bit disappointed, so got the boys to bring all the boardgames that we have + badminton rackets + table tennis bats + whatever we have that should keep us busy & entertained during the stay..........

To lift our spirit, i invited Nani & Ayob to join us. Hopefully their presence will cheer things up! Nak ajak Lina, dia baru balik dari Korea, furthermore we were going on weekdays. Ajak Ina, dia ada hal diSemenyih. Oh well, we'll get thru the 3 days before we'll head to JB, or so i thought!!

Frankly speaking, we were not really looking forward to the trip... pack barang pun last minute. Anak2 pun rasa macam 'aduh , lamanya....!' So did the father! lamanya nak tinggal office..pasni nak tinggal lagi...aduuuuhhh...mengeluh panjang.. Understandably,we didn't talk much about this trip.........................

Tengahari, Wednesday May 28th 08, kami bertolak. Jalan mana nak amek pun tak sure. Dah sampai halfway atas MRR2, Lan decided to go thru Kuantan. Pusing balik...

Masa nak bertolak, anak2-'Iffah esp - were not in so good mood. Awal2 lagi dah complain in horror " WHAT????ALL of us going in this van????" terjegil mata dia. Can't blame her...... 11 of us + all the stuff..hehehe. But i told her, the more the merrier. Furthermore Afan would be coming home earlier, ada program KONSIS. so nanti taklah sempit sangat...I wasn't that confident actually , everybody, everything would fit in... tapi alhamdulilla we did!!

The journey wasn't too bad. Everybody behaved, or rather slept most of the way to Kuantan. It was OK alhamdulillah, until we reached the Muazzam -Rompin road.....!!
Good grief! rasa macam naik kuda mengawan!! turun naik,turun naik jalan atas tanah gambut... Poor K Long , she kept shrieking! finally , she changed places ngan Afan, seat depan less bumpy & more comfy.

Nani petang lagi dah sampai. Told her to check in first. Called the reception to give the keys to her. Masa call hari tu, was informed that we'll be given 2 villas. tanya villa tu macam mana? Katanya, 2 villas, 2 bilik. So bila ajak Nani, told her so..ada dua bilik..nanti kita sumbat lah ramai2,ek!! as usual, ladies dalam 1 bilik, men can sleep outside... No problem, dia kata, janji boleh holidays! Good ol' Nani! They make good company, no hal bila di ajak -as they say, jenis tak ssolek!!! hehe. Nak gi Rabu, Sabtu semua barang dah ready!! how about that!!

Petang tu masa call Nani dia kata baru balik dari pantai. Comel pantai , katanya. ahhhhh..lega...at least something!! :) kurang sikit bimbang. If nothing else, at least there's the pantai....

Reached the junction to Summerset around 8pm. semua lapar...so we turned back cari kedai makan. Decided to bawa balik & makan dgn Nani. Laaaa.. lama lah pulak tunggu!! segala macam diordernya! Trust Lan, he & his sea food..... by the time we got to Summerset, it was past 9pm.....
