O Allah, please put this world in my hand and not in my heart for I desire the heart which always remember You all the time. Please forgive me for I have sin.
Verily You are the Most Gracious, Most Merciful

EIDUL ADHA - 8 Dec 08

Bismillahirrahmanirraheem
We finally started our journey home Saturday, 6th Dec, after maghrib. It was a leisurely & pleasant drive - everybody had had a good rest, esp the driver! It was too leisurely though- we arrived quite late in Lipis for our usual stop at Centrepoint!
Arrived in Melor after zohr and after having settled matters pertaining to Qurban the next day, we headed to the airport to pick Hakim, our other son, arriving from Sabah to celebrate Eidul Adha with us, alhamdulillah.

As time was tight, we decided to get the boys' school stuff just in case we wouldn't have the time before flying off to Adelaide (and we sure didn't!) Went looking around for seluar sekolah but couldn't find any. Good grief! it's not on sale yet!we were a week too early!
No school stuff, but we ended up with one full trolley load!! Bad spending pattern! Next time we'll stick to our list, insyaAllah! (our list this time - seluar sekolah, roti , ccoking oil & cordial! no way these could have filled up the whole trolley.... )

We had our dinner at this nice place we discovered while looking around for a place to put up Afan's family during K Long's walimah. It's right in front of this hotel called 'Royal something' (can't quite remember, but it's nearby Masjid Muhammadiah, owned by the state's royal family)
We like the ambience - spacious & airy, not too crowded - good for us, but not good for the business!! :)

Tonight we discovered that Hakim & I had the same favourite food - nasi goreng ikan masin!! but that's where the similarity ended, I went for nescafe ais, but he opted for air suam... :( hehe

Qurban was done near the bangsal - Hakim was a bit sheepish, refusing to go near! Even from afar, he only peeped with a cringed face!! This must have been his first 'live' Qurban!

As usual, we had to escape from the non-ending guests to go back to Besut.

Abg Li & K Wan did their Qurban on the second day. With 2 cows, there were lots of work to do! Practically spent the whole morning in the kitchen helping K Wan. Tabik spring to her!!! She's a real good cook, and a patient one at that!!! Guess I'll never be like her... sigh....

After spending a night at Centrepoint, we arrived back in Melawati on Dec 10th, just in time for 'Atif to attend his tuition with Cg Zul.. You'd better do well 'Atif!
