Welcome to Australia! The Great OZ salute! Filzah's first swipe at the flies!!This was going to be a long journey, distance & time wise. And I should have been more prepared. But I wasn't.. There were just too much to do before leaving - had to ensure that everything's in order. We ended up buying the luggage & bouncer for the new baby the day before we flew. Chucking in the stuff before the taxi arrived, missed some important items - alhamdulillah, minta mok su bawakan.
Quite annoyed when we discovered our seats were quite far apart from each other, me & Filzah in row 37 while Lan in row 11. How could they do that when we were among the first to check in! I was not at all happy, that was until we discovered why .. :) The aircraft was quite empty, everyone almost got a row each! and that allowed everyone to stretch & had a good sleep! and that's what we did!, waking up only for subuh. Alhamdulillah.
Touched down at Perth airport at around 6 am.Transferred to domestic terminal & arranged for car rental. We checked in early to avoid lugging around all our bags and all. Alhamdulillah, we were allowed to check in at least 8 hours before departure. Most convenient!
Wanted to take the city tour bus but decided otherwise when Budiman called to meet up somewhere. Apparently Kak Long had called Asiah to inform of our transit in Perth.
